Precautions
(1) Usage Notes
1. New shears feature ultra‑sharp edges. During initial use, cut thin wet‑hair sections. Avoid fast empty snips (friction generates heat), dry coarse hair and cutting non‑hair objects to preserve long‑term blade sharpness and service life.
2. Do not push the moving blade with your thumb. It will cause non‑concentric rotation of built‑in screws and bearings, uneven track stress, blade chipping and stiff cutting feel.
3. New blades are extremely sharp and require break‑in period (approx. 20‑30 haircuts). Avoid reverse‑angle cutting, pick‑cutting, slide‑cutting and pull‑cutting during break‑in phase.
4. After cutting wet hair or permed/dyed hair, promptly wipe hair clippings, moisture and chemical residues from inner blades to prevent rust and performance impact.
5. After each use, wipe thoroughly with chamois leather, apply maintenance oil to blades and pivot tracks, close blade tips and store in protective sheath.
6. Factory maintenance every six months is recommended for neat hair cross‑sections, no split ends and intact hair cuticles.
(2) Maintenance Notes
1. When cleaning shear blades, fold chamois leather into double layers for sufficient thickness. Open scissors wider than 45 degrees, clamp blades with chamois leather and wipe slowly from pivot toward tip. Hold handles firmly and control angles to avoid chamois tearing and finger cuts.
2. For thinning‑shear cleaning: first brush hair debris from inner tooth gaps with small brush, wipe horizontally along teeth with chamois leather until residue‑free, then apply lubricating oil for smooth opening‑and‑closing.
3. Inspect opening‑closing status regularly. Open shear and release static blade; it qualifies if front 1/3 or 1/4 of blade tip stays unclosed. Fine‑tune nut tension via adjuster or manual adjustment if needed.
